Our assignment entailed the creation of a space within a space. In my design, I conceived a cube where, as you rotated it, lines seamlessly transitioned from one side to the next in a continuous flow. This captivating visual effect was maintained consistently whether viewed from various angles. As you transitioned from the external to the internal, this pattern persisted, creating a sense of unbroken continuity in the perception of the cardboard structure. The outcome was an optical illusion that skillfully guided the eye through a seemingly uninterrupted flow as you ventured into the inner space.
Each of the subsequent cubes serves as a testament to the exploratory process, delving into diverse avenues of creating voids and manipulating cardboard to form apertures and spaces within spaces. These iterations are essential steps in investigating how to establish points of connection and develop intricate architectural forms. Through this series of cubes, a meticulous examination of various possibilities unfolds, allowing for a thorough exploration of the potential for crafting dynamic and engaging spatial configurations.
